"Thank You Rescue Angels, for our wonderful little Remi (Rembrandt).
Kristina and Vickie you are the most compassionate, and heartfelt ladies. It is evident that you are both very passionate about your work and these wonderful little dogs that you continue to save. Adorable sweet Remi is our second rescue from your organization and we couldn't be happier with him. He settled right in with his two papillion brothers, Scooter and Yancey. Yancey, being our first rescue from Rescue Angels three years ago. Remi loves playing with Yancey and they chase each other all over the house, playing with their tug toys and chasing their ball. Remi is so sweet with all three of our young grand children and they love to cuddle up with him. He can never get close enough to you when he decides its nap time. Thank you Kristina for all the photos and video clips prior to our adopting Remi, there were absolutely no second thoughts after seeing those. He is a little snugglebug who loves to be close to you. But.... he can also be full of the devil trying to get his brothers to play with him. He keeps us laughing all day long. To be fortunate once to adopt such an amazing Dog Like Yancey was a miracle, and now to get a second rescue pup with all those same wonderful qualities truly is a gift. We were blessed twice, and for that we will be forever grateful to both Vickie and Kristina. Thank you for all the effort you both put into saving these wonderful dogs. I can't imagine not having Remi or Yancey in our lives. Thank you Vickie and Kristina for all your help in making this adoption possible, and effortless on our end. Rescue Angels is the BEST!" - Deb from CT :) "Rescue Angel's is an incredible organization and I thank Kristina for finding and taking care of my little Boo. I went to the Petsmart in Alexandria not knowing that I was going to meet the most adorable little girl in the world. It took me a day or two after I held the little girl in my arms (and it took my a long time before I could let her go!) before I decided to adopt Boo. After I filled the application online, Kristina responded back quickly and said the little girl was still available. It was meant to be. She was sick at first, so I couldn't take her home immediately, but Kristina had taken such great care of her that she beat the worst and was able to come home with me a week ago. I am loving every minute of being with my new pup and she is such a treasure. I am absolutely in love with the cutest thing on earth. Anyone who is serious about adopting a puppy should go through Rescue Angels. It's like having Oprah in your own local area. They really care." – Sandra
"After losing our beloved dog of 9 years to kidney failure we were devastated! We were not sure how long it would be before we would be able to bring another dog into our lives, but after a few weeks we could not stand the void, and decided to look for a dog we could love as much as the one we lost. To our surprise it was more difficult then we thought to find a pup in New England! We thought we would just go to the local shelter and pick our new friend out. That is the way it worked for us when we bought our previous dog down south, but up here it is not quite so easy, so we heard about petfinder.com. I was a little apprehensive to get a pup sight unseen and bring her home, as we have children and wanted to make sure we had a good match. Vickie at Rescue Angels made the process easy and kept us informed of our new pup's temperament and where-abouts. She always answered our MANY questions quickly and patiently! We have only had Tess for a short time, but she is part of the family already! She protects the kids as if they were her own, and she is only a few months old:) Thank you so much Vickie and the whole Rescue Angels team for helping us find our new best friend!" – Amy
“I adopted Bella a few years ago. She is a wonderful member of our family. When I brought her home we also had 3 beagles. They all got along great. Since then my beagles have passed away. That was hard on all of us, even Bella. We got another beagle before the last of the 3 died. Bella took on a mommy roll with Crickett. When we lost Boomer both of them felt the loss, as we all did. Crickett will be 2 in February and Bella is still her mommy. Bella is a great watch dog. She will not let anyone hurt any of us. She is family and I am so very glad that we got her.” - Maureen
"We adopted little Yancey July 17th 2010 He is such a loving, happy little papillon that loves to cuddle and please. He adjusted immediately to his new home and two brothers that are also papillons. I call him our little angel because he is so much more than I could have ever imagined. Yancey has only been with us two weeks and already knows come, sit, down and we are working on bow. He is always wagging his tail and trying to get someone to play. He loves toys and has them all over the house. Yanceys favorite thing is running outside and has even shown interest in agility, jumping through the tire jump and over the obstacles all on his own. I can't thank Rescue Angels enough for all their efforts in rescuing these special little dogs. Vickie You're the BEST, thanks for all you did to ma! ke Yancey part of our family." - Deb Purdell
"June 26th, Eric and I welcomed Baby Roo into her forever home. It's been about a month and a half now and we really can't believe that we ever lived without her! She is a lovable and sweet (spoiled) member of our family. She is so excited to see us when we come home from work and loves to go to Woofs and Whimsy to see her doggy friends. She has come out of her shell with us and is learning to trust strangers. She loves to cuddle on the couch and has learned how to sit and shake. Vickie and the rest of the Rescue Angels family, we can't thank you enough for saving her, taking such good care of her and bringing her into our lives. Baby Roo is very loved but we are the lucky ones!" – Ashley & Eric
"I can't say enough good things about Rescue Angels and especially Vickie. We adopted Zoey almost two months ago. Her brother Ben (now Diesel) was also adopted to a family not far from us. Zoey is an absolute sweetheart and is already a loving member of our family. We've even been able to have a couple of play dates with her brother which was just an incredible thing to see them reunite. Vickie took so much time to make sure not only that we were right for Zoey's forever home but also that Zoey was right for us! I also have to give kudo's to the foster mom's out there. They must give so much love to these little guys because they all seem to be so well adjusted. Again, thank you so much for giving us our Zoey! Who would have thought our next dog would be coming from Tennessee!!!! Vickie, thank you and Tina again so much." – Rita
"I got Rudy for Christmas! I had always wanted a Yorkie but didn't think I would ever be able to get one. My Mom found him for me through Rescue Angels in Braintree, MA. After visiting him first, she knew he would be perfect for us. I had no idea why we were going to Vickie's house two days before Christmas when there was so much shopping to be done. Little did I know that the best Christmas present I ever received would be just on the other side of the door! I was so thrilled, it was love at first sight. We changed his name from Doc to Rudy...Short for Rudolph, but we call him Rudy Tootie, and when he hears his name he comes running. Rudy has definitely fit right in and now we could not imagine life without him. Thank you Vickie we are so grateful you found him for us." – Libby
"Kristina with Rescue Angels in Arlington is our hero of the week. She has restored my belief that most rescue people go above and beyond to help the animals. When all is said and done the sacrifices we make are to assure that the animals get into the homes they so much deserve and not about who we are or how important each individual rescue is. Kristina reached out and helped Safe Haven at a time when we really needed it. She saved three of our dogs that would have been in immediate danger and made it possible to bring home a very pregnant lab to deliver her puppies. Thank you so much and you are living proof of what rescue is all about and have restored my faith in people..." – Tricia from Safe Haven Rescue of West Virginia
"I am so glad that I saw your van that day in an Upper Marlboro shopping center. When I saw Bella, I just had to have her. When I brought her home, she fit right in with my beagles. She house broke in only 2 days. I thank you for this loving addition to my family. She now has a forever home and we all love her." – Maureen

"I want to thank Kristina and Rescue Angels so much for our new puppy Jasmine. She is a real sweetheart. She's been with us for a month now and is a perfect fit to our family. She's so lovey-dovey and cuddley. Everyone thinks she is so cute. When people ask us what breed she is and we tell them she's a Dachsund/German Shepard mix, you should see the look on their faces. The next question they usually ask is, "How did that happen?" We've gotten lots of laughs. It's been a joy to have her around during the holidays. We just love her so much! Thanks again Kristina for our baby girl!" – Shari & Ray
"We cannot tell you how grateful we are to have been able to adopt Dixie Girl. She is the sweetest, most loving, cuddly, little angel that you will ever meet and she has truly brightened up our lives. She is very happy in her new home, she loves playing with her toys, going for walks, and taking naps (under the blanket) on our laps! We love her so much and we cannot thank Vickie enough for bringing her home to us!" -Jenna & Robert
“We looked on Petfinder to find a companion for our three year old cock-a-poo, Lucky. We initially completed an application for a five year old cock-a-poo, but were asked to consider her sister, Bebe, who was a seven year old cock-a-poo because she was more familiar with children. We briefly hesitated because of her age but couldn't resist her cute little face. We are so glad we chose to adopt Bebe, who we renamed Annie. She is a perfect addition to our family and a faithful companion to our other cock-a-poo Lucky. She is enjoying life to the fullest and getting lots of love.Thank you Petfinder and Rescue Angels for helping us give Annie a fur-ever home!” - Eileen
"Thank You so Much for all you do!! Calvin is doing great and he's such a sweet dog. He lost his first tooth at daycare this week, he's learned to sit, loves to snuggle and hopefully will learn to swim this summer!!" - Laura
"I wanted to adopt a companion for my Shih Tzu Benji. I looked at local websites every day but by the time I decided to call, the dog was adopted. Then one day I happened upon the Rescue Angels site and fell in love with a Shih Poo named Jo Jo (now Timmy). As soon as I saw him I knew he would come home with me. Vickie was absolutely wonderful. She helped me through Timmy's first few days with his new family. There is nothing better in the world than sitting on the sofa and having two cuddly babies snuggling up next to me." -Mary Lou
"Thank you to Vickie for your patience in waiting until we could get Speckles. He is a welcome addition to our family. Speckles loves long walks, kids, car rides and doesn't mind the vet visits. He is such a character and a busy boy. So glad to have him in our family. You provide a great service, thank you again." -Maria Manomet
"In May of 2009 we found Wendy, a six to seven month-old puppy, at an adoption event in Arlington. She had been rescued from a shelter in Virginia where she was in danger of being euthanized. She was underweight and timid - she obviously had a rough life before being saved by Rescue Angels. She has fit in perfectly with our family and has made great strides since we took her in. She's gained weight and is much more outgoing and much less fearful now that she has a permanent home. She and our other dog have become great friends and we are very happy to have her. We can't thank Rescue Angels enough for saving her life and providing us with such a great dog. Rescue Angels is a terrific organization of caring people dedicated to the welfare and placement of animals that others have given up on. Keep up the great work!" – Ted & Zoe Duncan
"We adopted Fiona just over a month ago. She has been a perfect fit for our family right from the beginning & we all just love her to pieces! I give so much credit to Rescue Angels & the fosters. They do incredible work for so many deserving animals. When we got Fiona, she was about 4-6 months old & was already crate trained, house-trained & knew how to sit. We think she is a very smart & special dog but it's clear her loving foster mom gave her some training & lots of love. Thank you for our little princess!" – Shannon
"We are so happy with our Millie. She came already perfectly trained and just fit into our family so smoothly. She was abandoned with a pup and shot going thru someone's trash. A wonderful woman in Tennesee saved her and saved her leg. We are sooooo grateful to you all for finding our heart. We love Millie so much and she makes us smile everyday. Thanks for all your hard work." -Ellen Sullivan
"Today is Frankie's (Teensy) 2nd day in her new forever home, it feels like we have had her forever & has had no problem making herself at home!! Frankie is getting along great with our 2 cats in the family, Buggy & Millo. My daughter Olivia who is 20 months old LOVES her new puppy...they are the best of buddies already! We have had a few potty accidents in the house but that's okay, Frankie goes right to the door when she needs to go out. I think that she'll be house trained within the next 2 weeks. We also took her on her 1st shopping spree at Petsmart in Braintree, she was a celebrity... everyone enjoyed her there. My family is so happy that we were able to adopt such an angel from Rescue Angels! Thank you all for giving us such a beautiful little girl, we will spoil & love her for the rest of her life!" – Rachel, Mark, Olivia, Buggy & Millo
"I adopted Bear (now Deacon) on September 13th. I was not really planning on adopting a dog that day, but I fell in love with him when I met him. He has the sweetest face and is such a great dog with other dogs, kids, and people. Kristina was wonderful to work with and she was able to answer all of my questions about him. I am so lucky that I have Deacon in my life." – Amy
"We adopted Brooksie (now Molly) from Rescue Angels and we are so grateful to them for rescuing her and allowing us to adopt her. She is a sweetheart, so friendly and loving. We just can't say enough good things about our beautiful Molly. She is great with our Grandchildren and enjoys romping around with our Son's dogs...she even loves the snow! Everyone who meets her falls in love with her. Thank you Vickie for this wonderful addition to our family. You truly are an ANGEL." – Tom & Anne
"My boyfriend and I were in search of a puppy for a while and didn't get anywhere until the day he said he found a lab mix and said that we should go see it. We got in contact with Kristina and completed the application, within days I received the phone call about meeting him, I immediately got excited. That night we went to see him I instantly wanted to take him home. I honestly never thought I would get so happy for a dog. I am eager to learn his habits and to raise him. He gets along with a 3 year old lab/pit mix and we all love his joyful character. I really thank Rescue Angels for the opportunity to raise such a handsome dog." – Janett
