She is full of affection and lots of personality and wants to please her people. When Annie arrived at her New England foster home, she was quite fearful, but she has made incredible strides and now her favorite activities are jumping on the bed to wake up her teenage boy with kisses, cuddling (all the time!!) with her foster mom, playing with her two doggie siblings indoors and out, and taking walks in the woods. Annie loves to play and run with her buddies, walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, and is crate trained. She is working on being 100 percent at house training, but is almost there. Annie loves to run and play, but she mostly loves affection and attention, rolling on her belly and nudging her mom's elbow for attention any chance she gets. She will do best and continue on her journey to becoming a great dog with a family that is familiar with cattle dogs and herding dog breeds and their need for exercise and a willingness to continue to work with her to build her confidence. At first Annie was nervous around her doggie siblings, but now she gets along fantastically with them and would do best in a home with another active dog as she learns a lot from watching. Morgan was found staggering down an inner city street (Morgan St) . She was dehydrated, had severe skin issues & was extremely malnourished. Animal control had tried to catch her several times since it was known that she was living under an abandoned house. Cars were driving around her in the street when a good samaritan stopped. Potter is as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside. This handsome boy came into our rescue after losing his owner to terminal cancer. He just couldn't understand why he was left behind, but after a few days in our care he settled in really well and has stolen his foster family's hearts. Potter is around 8- 10 years old, and is hard of hearing. He is developing cataracts but seems to see just fine and definitely has no problems getting around. He is very very gentle and quiet, and does fine with the family's two-year old but would be more suited to a less active home looking for a loving lap dog and a companion for walks.
