About: Amos is one of MANY beagles rescued from a kill shelter. These poor babies were dumped by their owners once hunting season was over. After being dumped by his owners, won't you show him what a real family is like? He's currently being fostered at Wagtime, a doggy day care in DC, but would love to call your house his!

About: Baxter is a handsome, sweet and loving 1 year old male dog. He is super friendly and sweet and very, very nice and happy. He walks well on a leash, and is very social! He's only around 40 pounds, so a nice medium sized dog with a very nice energy level. He loves playing with his foster brother but also enjoys his naps! He's very well behaved and does not jump so he would probably be okay with smaller children- he LOVES to give you kisses on your hand!

About: This is Bebe and she is the sweetheart you’ve been looking for!! She is approximately two years old and came to us from a home with too many dogs. She is quite the lover and snuggler, and wants nothing more than to curl up next to you and give kisses. Bebe has a lot of puppy left in her, so she loves to run, jump and retrieve and has shown interest in catching Frisbees! She is very smart and has done a great job at learning the basic commands. Currently, she takes walks with a backpack and is learning to heel and walk beside us. However, she still needs work in this department and her training should continue. Bebe is learning to stay in her crate for longer periods of time and does really well when she has something to chew on to keep her occupied. She is 99% house trained, but still has accidents from time to time. Her new owner will need to be very patient and disciplined in helping her become the wonderful dog that she is meant to be.Bebe should go to a home with no small children and where she is the only pet. Did I mention she has a beautiful smile?! Bebe weighs about 35lbs, up to date on all shots and has been spayed.

About: Meet Blue! Check out those ears!!! His temperament is so sweet and loving. He likes to play in the daycare with dogs big and small, but loves attention from people too. he weighs 40lb. He is very funny with a great personality. He would be a great second dog for any family.

About: Bravo is a gorgeous boy!  He is a white German Shepherd, believed to be pure bred, with one blue eye and one brown. Bravo loves to run and absolutely LOVES children.  This poor boy was chained up outside a home by a terrible owner.  Every day when the children came home from school they would let him off his chain before his terrible owner got home and then rechain him so no one knew.  Eventually a wonderful shelter stepped in, they just don't have space for this precious boy anymore so Rescue Angels is taking him in until he finds his forever home.  Bravo is now housebroken, and equally at home inside or outside. Bravo has been neutered and is up to date on all shots. A happy, healthy boy, he is willing to accept a new family if they will take good care of him.

About: Hi! I am Colbie. I am an 10 month old Jack Russell mix. When I came to Wagtime with my brother and sister I was a very timid little girl. Thankfully time with other dogs and lots of loving and patient staff have helped me come out of my shell! Now I like to run and play with the other small dogs and I even like to check out the city sights on walks!! I’d do best with a person or family who is familiar with rescue pups and their quirks and who has patience to let me settle into a new environment. I am a fantastic puppy once I get to know you and I know I will be true and constant pal to some very lucky person. About: This is Louisa, about 3 months at this February 7, 2010. Someone did not mean for her to live. At only a few weeks, she was dropped at a trash deposit in the freezing cold. She was missing a lot of hair from mange and barely alive. The attendant who found her wrapped her in a quilt and when a vet member came with trash, asked her to take the puppy. Louisa, not yet named, went straight to the vet where she remained for a couple of weeks. Her brown and white coloring is a mirror image on each side. She's a great little pup who deserves another chance at life!

About: Speedy Sam is currently being fostered in TN and will make his trip to Rescue Angels after he receives heartworm treatment; however, we're currently accepting and processing applications for his adoption. Speedy Sam may have just 3 legs, but this guy is all heart! He was seen by several people wandering the downtown area of a small town (a homeless 3-legged Basset is not something you see every day, mind you), and then the next week he was seen again, this time with his collar removed. So, not only was the poor fellow dumped, but then he was robbed! Oh well, he doesn't hold grudges and he gets around just fine. He is very happy (can't you tell - that IS a smile for a Basset, you know) and is loving, friendly and has a low/medium couch potato energy level - until the snacks come out and then he speeds up to about a medium energy level! Speedy Sam is about as nice as they come, and after undergoing heartworm treatment for a very mild case of heartworms, he will be ready for his forever home!
