There are countless ways to help. Your efforts and time are what we rely on to help us step forward in helping us place these beautiful anmial with loving forever homes. Anything that you can give, do, or say to help is much appreciated! Here are a few ideas:

Sponsor

If you can't adopt a dog right now but still want to help, be a sponsor!
The donation will help go toward the dog of your choice's vet bills or any other medical costs which may occure. Or, if you would rather give the selected dog treats, toys or maybe a new collar to show off at the adoption events, we can arrange that too!

Adopt

Are you ready to bring a new addition to your loving family?
Bringing a rescue dog into your home gives you a new best friend while also giving you the satisfaction and the "feel good" feeling of saving a pet in need. Please check out our Adoption Information page and our Adoption Application to see the form that will start the process after you have decided to move forward with the adoption. After your application is submitted and reviewed, we will ask you to fill out and submit an adoption contract before the dog is placed in your home

Foster

Not ready to own a dog but you still want that pet experience?
We are in dire need of fosters who will help us in the transition from shelter to forever home. Please see our Foster page to review the foster application! We look forward to hearing from you.

It's quick, easy and the one of the most effective ways you can help!
Since we are still a relatively new organization, we are in the early stages of getting our name out there. If you cannot help directly, we would truly appreciate it if you could pass our website along to friends, family and co-workers through email and word of mouth. We believe strongly in the powers of communications.

Drive

Have a pair of wheels? We need you!
We are always looking for people to volunteer to drive the pups to their foster homes, vet visits, and adoption days. We will pay for your gas! If this is something you would be interested in, please contact us. We will absolutely work around your schedule.

Volunteer

All you need is time
We attend adoption events at the Petsmart/Banfield Animal Hospital located at 3351 Jefferson Davis Hwy (Route 1) in Alexandria, VA. Events take place every Saturday and Sunday from 1-4pm. We would love for people to volunteer to stay with the dogs and talk to those who may be interested in adopting. You will be our representatives at these adoption days, handle our dogs and play a major role in finding our rescues forever homes. If you are interested, please fill out a Volunteer Agreement.

Donate

Every little bit helps
There are many times when a rescue dog will unfortunately become ill and medical attention will be necessary. We really appreciate those who can help us with these vet bills. This is a great way to help even if you cannot foster, adopt or attend events. Please Email Us for mailing information. Remember, every little bit counts!
